My name is Andante van Niekerk, and I’ve always been fascinated by how emotion and experience leave marks, both on people and within us. I work mostly in graphite, exploring themes that feel personal and real rather than theoretical. Art, for me, is not just something I make; it’s how I slow down, notice, and hold space for moments that matter. Each piece is a reflection of how I see, feel, and understand the world around me.
